It would be great to have a command-line option to just render the view to file without bringing up the interface at all, something similar to this:
$ proteinview --hd --mode backbooone --size 300,200 --outfile sixel.dat
This would be extremely useful to generate previews for tools like Yazi and/or to create thumbnails of PDB files in a directory.
Together with this, it would be great to have a way to specify some automatic orientation (i.e. major axis, vertical, etc.) so that views are all consistent.
