Ore Code aims to be a practical and respectful engineering project.
- Be direct, factual, and respectful.
- Keep technical criticism focused on the code, design, documentation, or behavior being discussed.
- Assume good intent, but make risks and tradeoffs explicit.
- Respect maintainers' decisions on scope, safety, and release timing.
- Avoid sharing private data, credentials, or confidential project details in public issues.
- Harassment, insults, threats, or discriminatory language.
- Publishing another person's private information.
- Posting secrets, credentials, or exploit details in public threads.
- Repeatedly derailing issues or pull requests after a maintainer has redirected the discussion.
- Demanding private support or urgent unpaid work from maintainers.
Maintainers may edit, hide, lock, or delete comments; close issues or pull requests; or restrict participation when behavior harms the project or its users.
