+Kale Microgreens Seeds. Brassica oleracea. Non-GMO. Kale micros are dark green sometimes with a bluish hue or a redish highlight. The greens are easy to grow and fast. Grows well in both soil and hydroponic pads.

+Process:
+Phase 1: Setup & Prep (Day 0)
+1. Tray Setup
+Use a 10x20 tray (no holes) for hydroponic growing
+Place hemp mat inside tray
+Trim if needed so it fits flat (no curling edges)
+2. Pre-soak the Hemp Mat
+Add water until fully saturated but not floating
+Then drain excess → mat should be moist, not submerged
+Phase 2: Seeding (Day 0)
+3. Seed Density (VERY important)
+Kale microgreens:
+ 15–20 grams per 10x20 tray
+Spread seeds:
+Evenly across entire mat
+No clumping
+4. Initial Watering
+Lightly mist seeds (don’t flood)
+5. Blackout Phase Setup
+Stack another tray on top OR cover with lid
+Add light weight (~5–10 lbs)
+Phase 3: Germination (Days 1–3)
+6. Conditions
+Keep in dark
+Temperature: 65–75°F (18–24°C)
+7. Watering
+Check daily:
+Keep mat moist
+Add water to tray (bottom watering preferred)
+Light brown / drying → add water
+Dark / fully moist → leave it 21% -> 80%
+Sitting in water → too much
+3-4 hours to sweep 
+Phase 4: Light Growth (Days 3–10)
+8. Remove Blackout Cover (Day 3)
+When most seeds sprout (~1 inch tall)
+9. Introduce Light
+Use grow lights or sunlight
+12–16 hours/day
+LED grow lights ~6–12 inches above plants

+Start feeding once lights are introduced:

+Low Dose [Day 3-5] → ½ teaspoon per gallon 
+High Dose [Day 6] → 1 teaspoon per gallon
+Add nutrient solution to bottom of tray (bottom feeding)

+200–400 mL [1 Cup] per tray per day
+ Microgreens don’t need full strength → too much = burn
