Shift key suddenly gets stuck.

The shift key suddenly gets stuck. This happens even when only using the mouse, and suddenly notice that the shift key is stuck. Most often this happens when switching between any programs.

For a long time, I couldn't figure out which of any programs was causing the problem, and by process of elimination, I found that it was this one.

In version 6.6.5+, I made some changes that might have caused this. Did the error appear after update to this versions?

Any additional information or logs would also be helpful. Are there any other programs running that might be intercepting keyboard input? Does hitting the Shift key clear the stuck state?

Only Pressing Shift clear the stuck state.

I noticed this problem about four months ago.
The latest version also has problems.

This makes things a lot more complicated. Log can help if you enable it and copy when error occured.

The only thing I can think is SS mechanism of disabling keys for system for hot-keys. Your hot keys ends on Shift, but for Shift is really not necessary to disable. I can try to disable this mechanism for modifiers, may be it helps.

Another possible reason is your AutoHotKey script. If it sends something while SS is performing a fix, a desync may occur.

I couldn't figure out which program was causing the problem: I disabled these programs (including AutoHotKey scripts) one by one until this error occurred, to rule out that it was a problem with them - so it's unlikely that the error is due to programs conflict.

I still encountered this problem several times while testing version 6.9.2 for a couple of days. But the problem of Ctrl sticking has also started to appear frequently, more often than Shift.

I realized the problem was basically in my AHK scripts, but without your program, this problem doesn't occur. I also noticed that all my modifiers start to freeze up drastically when I use Unison program (for file synchronization). Although it doesn't load the CPU, C drive, RAM, etc., it slows down everything on the computer.

Maybe that the root of the problem in your program is similar to the principle by which the computer slows down due to the Unison program.

This is classical behavior when someone block LowLevelKeyboardProc. May be you do some heavy work in this function in your script.
