That kind of issue is probably related with the device you're using to flash the image. There's no relationship with the R3XS image. |

You were right, I managed to do it using another PC. But I still have a blinking red LED and a black screen. I used the image from the GitHub repository as well as the DTB files (I no longer have the original files). |

Hello,
I am encountering an issue when trying to flash the firmware image onto an SD card.
Each time I try to flash the image, Balena Etcher fails during the writing process.
Software used: Balena Etcher
I tested several SD cards and the problem occurs with all of them:
SanDisk Ultra 1TB (grey/red)
Samsung EVO 64GB (white/red)
Transcend 32GB Class 10
SanDisk 32GB
OLEO 32GB (AliExpress generic card)
Balena Etcher shows the following error:
"Oops! Looks like the flash failed.
Something went wrong while writing ArkOS_R35S-R36S_v2.0_11072025_MultiPanel (1).img to Generic STORAGE DEVICE USB Device."
Another dialog appears with:
"Something went wrong. If it is a compressed image, please check that the archive is not corrupted.
The writer process ended unexpectedly."
After the failed flash, Windows also shows this notification:
"EASYROMS (H:) – This drive has a problem. Scan the drive now and fix it."
Question
Has anyone encountered this issue before?
Could this be caused by:
a corrupted image file
Balena Etcher compatibility
something specific with ArkOS images?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
