Dear @AlexanderKroll,
Thank you for developing and sharing the kcat_prediction_function repository. It is a very useful tool for turnover number prediction.
Our IT team is currently trying to deploy and use this tool locally for batch predictions. However, we noticed that the repository seems to be semi‑open‑source – it provides a convenient Python function (kcat_predicton) and pre‑trained model files, but the underlying full source code (e.g., model training scripts, data preprocessing pipelines, and the complete project structure) is not included.
We would like to request access to the complete source code package that you used to train and develop the model (similar to the kcat_prediction main repository, but perhaps more up‑to‑date). Specifically, we need:
Code for training the TurNuP model from scratch
The full data processing and feature extraction pipeline
Any missing modules or dependencies required for local deployment without relying on pre‑compiled black‑box components
Our goal is to understand the model thoroughly and ensure that we can deploy it reliably in our own environment (Linux server) for batch prediction tasks. We fully respect your licensing terms and will not misuse the code.
If the complete code is not publicly available due to ongoing research or commercial considerations, we understand. In that case, could you please provide guidance on how we can obtain it (e.g., upon reasonable request, through a formal collaboration, or under a separate license)?
Thank you very much for your time and for your excellent work.
Best regards,
Jackie
