Bug Description
Issue Summary:
In Calendar view, users can select properties to display on calendar items, but these properties are not shown directly on the calendar cards. Instead, only the title is visible, and additional information is only accessible after clicking the item. This makes the calendar view non-configurable in practice and limits its usefulness as a visual overview
Steps to Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:
Create a Calendar view
Add items with multiple properties (e.g. title, tags, number, status, etc.).
Open Calendar view settings → Properties.
Select or unselect different fields (e.g. hide title, keep only tags or numbers).
Return to calendar view.
Click on an item to view details.
Actual Result:
Calendar cards always show only the title
Even if other properties are selected, they are not displayed in the calendar view
Additional selected properties are only visible after clicking into the item
Hiding the title does not allow other fields to replace it visually
Calendar view behaves like a “title-only preview + click for details” system
Expected Behavior
Expected Result:
Selected properties should be visible directly in the calendar card (not only after clicking)
Users should be able to define what is shown in the calendar preview (e.g. tags, numbers, status, etc.)
If title is hidden, other selected properties should replace it
Calendar cards should act as a summary view, not just a clickable title placeholder
Impact:
Reduces the Calendar view to a minimal navigation layer instead of an information view
Forces unnecessary clicks to access basic information
Makes property customization misleading since changes are not reflected visually
Weakens usability compared to tools like Notion, where calendar cards show meaningful summaries
Browser and Version
Chrome Final Version/other browsers as well
AppFlowy Version(s)
Android App Final version
Screenshots
No response
Logs and Console Output
No response
Additional Context
Suggested Improvement:
Implement configurable calendar card previews (field-based display)
Allow multiple properties to be shown directly on calendar items
Ensure hidden title can be replaced by selected fields
Make calendar cards function as informational summaries, not just links to details
