Companions/followers/pet npc's. Simply npcs that are not designed for combat but for dialogue, shops, following players, quests, etc. The event tiles are okay but limited, being npcs would allow them to be spawned and despawned so they can follow the player between maps allowing for escorting, pets, summoning, hireable guards, etc
Skills, it's strange to me there are tools and resources but no modifiable skill levels, this is something very common in the majority of MMO's and would be a great feature allowing adding, removing, modifying skills and their icons, exp, levels etc outside the event system
Modifying stats, in editor way of modifying, adding or removing stats, 5 hard-coded combat stats is highly limiting. I'd like a way to add more or remove ones i don't need. For example a classic STR, DEX, CON, INT, WIS, CHA system, or very basic Attack, Defend, Speed.
I've only been using the engine for 2 days but as an experienced developer I feel i've hit the limits of this engine without modifying source code at which point using a more up to date engine would be preferable. This engines beauty is the simplicity so having these basic features in editor in my view is a requirement.
