I have experience working carefully around contract logic where performance improvements must not affect correctness. For this task, I’d profile the atomic swap operation path, locate unnecessary or repeated storage writes, and batch them where safe to reduce transaction cost. I’d also benchmark the change and keep the PR small, clear, and easy to verify.
