Features to be added to the AutomationML editor

A new AutomationML editor API will be released soon. The new API extends the alrady existing PlugIn contract. One feature of the new API is the provision of an interprocess communication to exchange messages between an application and the AutomationML editor on a local computer. In a first version, the Application can send notifications and commands to the editor. First supported commands are

• opening an AutomationML file,
• selecting an object,
• expanding a tree node and
• activating a library view.
