Azure Local sample repository

Welcome to Azure Local sample repository! This repo provides a centralized location for resources related to Software Defined Networking (SDN) training, security baseline information for different releases of Azure Local, and other related documents.

Note

This repo is internally managed, and outside contributions aren't permitted.

SDN training resources

Explore and download the materials for your self-paced, self-directed SDN training. These resources are updated regularly. If you've downloaded a training resource before, be sure to check back here often to download the latest version.

SDN training is organized into modules with specific learning objectives. Each module has a downloadable PowerPoint deck with detailed notes, and a corresponding hands-on lab document in PDF.

Follow these steps to download the SDN training resources:

  1. Go to the sdn-training folder. You'll find separate folders for each module.
  2. Select the module folder for which you want to download resources.
  3. Select the file you want to download.
  4. In the top-right corner, select the Download raw file icon. This action saves the file onto your local computer.

Security baseline

Download the Security Baseline in CSV format for the respective Azure Local release.

Follow these steps to download the Security Baseline CSV:

  1. Go to the security folder. You'll find separate security baseline CSV files for each release.
  2. Select the file you want to download.
  3. In the top-right corner, select the Download raw file icon. This action saves the file onto your local computer.

Disconnected operations samples

Sample artifacts for monitoring Azure Local clusters running in disconnected operations mode, such as the point-in-time-metrics.json Grafana dashboard.

Follow these steps to download a disconnected operations sample:

  1. Go to the disconnected-operations folder.
  2. Select the file you want to download.
  3. In the top-right corner, select the Download raw file icon. This action saves the file onto your local computer.
