As documented on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cli/azure/network/bastion?view=azure-cli-latest#az-network-bastion-rdp, the native client can be used to establish RDP connections through Bastion to VM resources.

Now that IP-based Bastion support is GA (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/updates/general-availability-azure-bastion-ip-based-connection-connect-onpremises-resources-via-specified-ip-address/?cdn=disable) please add support for establishing an RDP connection through the native client to IP-based resources.
