azure cli login command with managed identity is not working in mcr.microsoft.com/azure-cli pod

Command is not producing any output. It's getting stuck may be.

To Reproduce:

Steps to reproduce the behavior. Note that argument values have been redacted, as they may contain sensitive information.

• Create a aks cluster
• Deploy mcr.microsoft.com/azure-cli pod with aad pod identity
• kubectl exec to the pod and execute below command
• az login --identity --username {}
