Type param is unclear for az functionapp deploy

Unclear that each accepted value of --type param for az functionapp deploy means, and how it affects the deployment procedure.

--type param values are: {ear, jar, lib, startup, static, war, zip}

Hi @jurijsk! Thank you for reporting this issue. The az functionapp deploy command is not the recommended command for deployments and we are in fact planning on deprecating it soon (#26372). Instead, we recommend using az functionapp deployment source config-zip.

@kamperiadis thank for for the heads up. I'm my use case I have to deploy to filesystem since I'm running .exe file to do part of the workflow. It there a way to deploy from local fs straight into Azure, preferably using CLI?
