Password authentication

I noticed that when I create a VM using the az vm create command. After creating the repair VM and try to SSH into it, it reject the password even though it is correct

Neve seen this kind of behaviour. The vm repair extension is actually using the normal CLI syntax to create a VM it might be therefore a generic issue with a az vm create operation. What is the type of VM you create Windows or Linux? If it is a Linux one you can mitigate the issue with resetting the password i.e https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/azure/virtual-machines/reset-password#:~:text=%20Reset%20the%20password%20by%20using%20Azure%20Linux,3%20Try%20to%20access%20the%20VM.%20More%20

Hello Marcus, I hope you are doing well. Thank you so much for your response. I was able to figure out the problem. When I execute the az VM create script from Azure cloud shell, I am unable to access the VM with the specified password in the script until I reset it from the portal. I think this is a cloud shell issue because I tried the the script on AZ CLI v2.33.1 installed on my PC and it worked perfectly.
