macos needs an additional click

hey, sorry if i bark up the wrong tree here. but i am using macos paired with nih-plug, and it seems i have to click one time in the window to give it focus, before i can click any of the controls. i've tried several other gui libraries (iced, vizia, egui, all in nih-plug) which seem to share the same behavior. which leads me to believe its an issue in baseview.

is this a known issue for macos? is there some workaround that can be done outside the library?

Yeah, this is known issue with baseview. This will have to be fixed on their end. RustAudio/baseview#129
