I would like to use OpenSidescan to process acoustic data from my Humminbird Helix, which is originally in .dat format. I converted the .dat files to .xtf using Python; while the conversion seems successful, I am unable to load the .xtf tracks into OpenSidescan. Has anyone here gone through this process before or could offer some guidance?
Alternatively, if someone could provide the specific attributes/headers required within the .xtf file for OpenSidescan to recognize them properly, that would be incredibly helpful. Thanks in advance for any collaboration!
