At the moment the server has no real way of providing metrics to the user which may be an issue for some who want monitoring, or at least is a large inconvenience to do.

A Prometheus endpoint would allow things like Grafana dashboards to make life much easier to produce monitoring for.

Hi, is it ok to provide it via Statsd? The reason is, we can have general implementation and broad range of metric provider supports.

Im not sure what you mean? I think exposing a Prometheus endpoint would probably satisfy most metric systems and also provide an easy with enough format to wrap around it if needed.
