@NinthRebuild

Description

@NinthRebuild

Describe the bug
Disabling certificate checks in the app settings doesn't disable checks entirely using eSCL and https.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Settings'
  2. Click on 'Disable certificate checks'
  3. Go to 'Discovery'
  4. Select scannner (https, eSCL)
  5. See error

Expected behavior
Scan without checking checking the hostname in the certificate.

Smartphone

  • Device: Google Pixel 8 Pro
  • Android version: 16
  • ScanBridge version: 2.1.4

Additional context
In previous versions I didn't have to disable the certificate checks at all and it still worked. I can't exactly pinpoint in which version the error occurred, maybe a few weeks ago. Thank you for your great app! It's the only foss project I know of for my use case :)
