Where Should I Install rnr.exe?

I setup a test repo and ran through the install process

iwr -Uri "https://rnrcli.io/win-amd64" -OutFile "rnr.exe"
.\rnr.exe init

Everything worked, but now I'm left with a rnr.exe file at the root. That doesn't get committed does it? Should I install rnr.exe somewhere globally on my path so I can run rnr init from anywhere? The docs don't quite make it clear.
