With the seeming abandonment of httpx by the original maintainers (see encode/httpx#3784) for context, can we consider moving to the fork hosted by pydantic at https://github.com/pydantic/httpx2 please?
We could do this first as an extra to let the consumer decide which version to depend on, but It seems as though the original httpx is dead, at least in its current form.
