Hi Gert, Not at the moment as the controls are rather different. Whats the "drive" to have many different sharpening settings as most sharpening has to be specific. Cor |

Hi Cor,
Thank you for the email. Over time, I have developed wavelet settings for my combinations of telescope, target, camera, barlow. Adjusting the wavelet sliders in Registax to get a good result was quite an art-form and took time to develop. So I want to preserve that work. I also want the processing to be reproducible. I attach a subset screen-copy from the list. It's quite long and I wish to re-use it.
Is there going to be a side by side similarity of the wavelet panel from Registax to Wavesharp? Let's say I have Registax open and loaded my settings, can I push the same sliders in Wavesharp with same result?
I look forward to using Wavesharp going forward.
Cheers,Gert

Which "ingredients" are in your settings ? I ask this to see if I could allow a transfer of old settings.

Hi Gert, The design of RS6 and WS for the wavelet-section is close to identical. The functionality is allready in V02 identical. The difference is that in WS you have several new options that can be mixed in. I dont see a screen-copy in your mail. Send me a PM on registax at gmail dot com so we can work this out further. Cor |

Hi Gert, Thats a collection. I have just inspected the data in the RWV files and most can be loaded into WS without much trouble I think. But I cannot judge if you are using wavelet-schemes with different steps. If your schemes are initial-layer =1 and step=0 and you are not using dyadic schemes in RegiStax the conversion should be possible. But as stated before PM me at my normal mail so we can communicate in an easier way. Cor |

I have just run an initial test using a simple waveletscheme created by RS6. I can load this and set the controls of the 3 layers in waveSharp. But I will not implement this until I have a clear view on your particular settings. As stated before, use a PM to registax at gmail dot com |

This is added to the upcoming 1.0 beta release. To be able to use it users will need to create an 'rwv' directory in the directory where waveSharp settings are stored. waveSharp will check if that subdirectory exists and if so add a dropdown-list to the interface. |

Hi,
I have a lot of saved sharpening settings from Registax. Is it possible to import them into Wavesharp ?
Thanks,
Gert
