I Have Some Original PSBBN Dumps

One from a 50K blue edition and one from a 20400 enclosure. Both were dumped before power on.

Tried to reach you elsewhere but was unable to so came here.

Yes please! The best thing to do is upload them to archive.org. If they have software installed, it would be great if you could also dump the HDD_ID. You can find instructions here.

Here's the ID for the 20400

I couldn't for the life of me figure out a way to dump the 50K BBN unit lol. It will always auto boot into the HDD no matter what. Starting up the PS2 with the HDD unplugged doesn't work because it needs to detect the adaptor on startup to use it elsewhere. I also tried transplanting it into my 20400 enclosure but the dumper fails to grab the ID if I do that. So for now I can only give the ID for the 20400.

Btw could you let me know when you've downloaded the dumps. I want to take them off my Google drive asap because of their size lol

You can remove them now. I've downloaded them already, just haven't had a chance to look at them yet.

If you're using FreeMCBoot, the issue is probably a mismatch of region or model so the card is being ignored.

FMCB is being recognized and boots but after the logo it goes straight to PSBBN. It even ignores when I hold a button to auto boot into ID Dumper.

Update: I've not forgotten about this, I will get to it. I have an idea for getting the ID. I just gotta find the time.

Thanks! I plan to have a look at those dumps later today. I'll then get the cache looked at to see if there's any online channel content that can recovered. I'll post an update here and let you know what we find.

Nothing too interesting found in the cache on these dumps. They have some files from Game City and PSNow channels, but nothing that hasn't already been recovered.
