Uploading big files

Hello,
I tried to upload a fairly big file (~ 350 MB) on a slow connection.
the cli uploaded very big chunks (20% of the total size) and after waiting for some minutes, gave up with an error.
I see the web interface used little chunks and succeded? Is there a way to "tune" the file transfer?

I understood that the only way to deal with Internext is reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/internxt/). If you see comments, they try to be "helpful", but they are harshly criticised by users. It's not clear what they are trying to do, at least for me.
