An advanced search page has the potential to provide huge value to users.
A faceted search would allow operators to enter any known constraints on observed data, with advanced search page filters being constrained to matching data - including completely hiding drop-down lists that contain 1 or zero items.
So, as the user enters one or more of region, nation, platform-type, source type, or freq, the other drop-down lists would be trimmed to the values that match the currently filtered rows.
As with the harmonics calculator, provision of SR or CFR boxes would filter to calculated values (and harmonics).
A demonstrator could be created that uses a representative volume of mock data.
Any research task should also do some early investigation into the challenge of extracting the tabular data.
Note: the itemsjs library should provide the core functionality of an advanced search page.
