Describe the bug
One of our macOS users gets disconnected frequently(many times a day) from the VPN. The VPN client shows that it's still connected, but the user can't access resources behind the VPN. Please find the logs attached in the "Additional Context" section.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open defguard client
  2. Connect to the VPN
  3. User works as usual
  4. Disconnection issues occur: client says it's connected and shows disconnect button, but user can't access VPN.

Expected behavior
Disconnections should not occur.

Version information

  • Defguard Core version: v1.6.4
  • Defguard Gateway version: v1.6.4 (if bug is applicable to VPN functionality)
  • Operating system and version running the gateway: macOS 26.5.1
  • Your browser and version: not applicable

Additional context
The user is connected via Ethernet to the same company network as all the other users, which are not having this problem.

The user is using the latest defguard client version at this time: 1.6.9

In the logs, when the user has problems, there is this block repeatedly:
