An imperfect iOS-style visual

I’m using a Redmi 10C with AOSP 16 and the Backshlashxx manager with the Rezygisk and LSposed Jing Matrix modules. When I enable the iOS menu style option, the chats in the background should fade and become blurry, with only the selected chat in focus and standing out. However, in version 1.5.3-DEV (5B1D9E4), the visual appearance changes as shown in the screenshot below. As you can see, there is no significant difference from the default style; the only changes are to the chat and reaction options.

This is something that is being developed by WhatsApp; WAE only activates this beta feature.
