Blank screen for local screen only

The local screen is blank (black) when viewed in game after spawning.

For context, I am running an AMD GPU (rx 9070xt)
Remote user screens display normally, and my screen also displays normally for other users. It is only my own screen that is blank.

not sure how, but this magically fixed itself today.
