[BUG] 'Automatic updates' section in 'pkg update preferences' = broken

'Automatic updates' section in 'pkg update preferences' is completely broken.
If It's not fully/properly implemented yet, at least fence it off!?!

Only a very specific combo stays toggled on, not the combo I'm interested in
If it's 'working', it's not very well-designed for all usage scenarios.
