Had to change the PID to get this working on my headset

Not sure if this is a difference between the xbox/ps variants of the headset(I own the xbox variant)
But after changing it to this, it worked

    PID = 0x12E5

I've linked the file above.
But anyway after you cloned the repo.
There should be a file named nova.py

That's the file you should edit.

In that file, line 56, change PID = 0x12E0 -> PID = 0x12E5

But yours may also be different from ours, and if that's the case, here's how to get your PID

Run the following command in your terminal

lsusb | grep -i arctis

This is the output I get from the command above

Bus 003 Device 008: ID 1038:12e5 SteelSeries ApS Arctis Nova Pro Wireless

The text after the ID is your VendorID:ProductID
If yours is different then copy it, and replace the text after 0x with yours on the line mentioned previously.

this was my output. it appears to be the same as yours except for the device number... (altho, i dont think that's a prob)

did the change. but when i ran "python nova.py" on the konsole got this...

Not sure why I didn't run into this as well, but anyway, I believe this will fix it.

This file in the repo will also need to be edited 50-nova-pro-wireless.rules

Then you only need to rerun the following steps from the README

sudo cp 50-nova-pro-wireless.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/
sudo udevadm control --reload-rules
sudo udevadm trigger

After that I believe it'll work if you try running python nova.py again

Alternatively you can clone my fork of this repo

For the time-being, until the author merges the changes from my PR, assuming they don't have any issues with it

i tried installing this one https://github.com/elegos/Linux-Arctis-Manager cause it has sidetone and gain manager. but it didnt work for me soo i uninstalled it but now i cant use this one. it just doesn't create the 2 virtual sound devices

From the error I'm guessing pipewire was uninstalled when you uninstalled that other package.
This should install it again sudo dnf install pipewire-pulseaudio

For controlling sidetone etc. I just change it via the base station.
