Service not automatically starting

Followed the instructions.
Service starts if started manually, but does not automatically start.

Pop!_OS 22.04

I just released an update that should fix this.
To update, install the new dependencies

sudo apt install python3-hid

in the nova-chatmix-linux directory pull the changes

git pull

or clone the repo again

git clone https://github.com/Dymstro/nova-chatmix-linux

then copy nova.py and nova-chatmix.service, reload the systemd user daemon and restart the service

cp nova.py ~/.local/bin/
cp nova-chatmix.service ~/.config/systemd/user/

systemctl --user daemon-reload
systemctl --user restart nova-chatmix

Thank you, going to give this a go.
One additional question I have is when this runs, I end up with the default nova wireless output, then a game and a chat.
Is there any reason to use the default output that's there from the start?
Or just use game for everything (higher quality?) and set chat for gaming apps.

Can you share the output of journalctl --user -b -u nova-chatmix?

I think I was having a similar problem. My service would start on startup just fine. However, when it went to sleep the service would not start on wakeup and I would need to manually start the service. In nova-chatmix.service changing Restart to always fixed this for me.

Im not super familiar with linux services. There might be a reason to keep Restart to on-failure as opposed to always
