[bug] segment fault with [-1,1]

This is just a simple bug report. pycatch22 will segment fault on the line below:

pycatch22.catch22_all([-1.,  1.], catch24=True)

I'm wondering if there is a way to go around this for now?

Can you please provide your platform, python version, and pycatch22 version? I can't seem to reproduce this bug locally (screenshot attached below):

system: Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS
python version: Python 3.12.12
pycatch22 version: Version: 0.4.5

I did a little more debugging. It seems the seg-fault is caused by when the input has length 2. It is fine when the length is 1.

Okay, I've spun up a docker to mimic the python and platform version you are on. I've managed to isolate the seg fault to the CO_Embed2_Dist_tau_d_expfit_meandiff function. Since it isn't meaningful to embed with only two points, it should just return a NaN for these edge cases. Looking into this now.
