how to config max_tool_calls_per_task ?

The session stopped because the agent hit the default iteration budget (15) on a single-task plan. Text-only replies while tools are still expected can be filtered and still consume iterations, so the limit can show up sooner than it looks.

I willl add SKILLLITE_MAX_TOOL_CALLS_PER_TASK and SKILLLITE_MAX_ITERATIONS so you can tune this in .env or your environment if you need more headroom.

Thanks for the fast reply! Loving this project—it's a great lightweight framework for Skill-based agents. Just a thought: since Rust has a bit of a learning curve, it would be awesome to see more features exposed via configs or env vars. It would make the project much more flexible for users who aren't Rust experts.

Thank you very much. Helping to resolve users' issues is precisely the original motivation behind my open-sourcing of this project.

In the future—once the core modules have stabilized—I plan to add support for Python, Go, and TypeScript.

Regarding the issue raised yesterday: I have resolved it by releasing version V0.1.16. I have successfully verified the fix locally; you can give it a try by running **pip install --upgrade skilllite**.
