Hey @mbsouth, quick heads up since you've been running OpenTrust from early on.

We just released v1.1.0, and this one is a bit different from the previous updates. It's all WordPress.org review compliance work, no new features, but part of that included renaming the plugin's custom post types (the WordPress.org folks asked us to use a longer prefix). Because of that, v1.1.0 runs an automatic database migration on the first page load after you upgrade. It rewrites the post types for all your existing policies, certifications, subprocessors, data practices, and FAQs.

The migration is built to be safe and idempotent, and everything (IDs, content, meta, revisions, version history, translations) is preserved. But since it does touch the database, I'd really recommend taking a quick backup before you update, just so you've got a safety net. We don't want you losing anything.

One more thing: if you've got any custom code or theme snippets referencing the old ot_* post type slugs, those will need updating to the new opentr_* slugs, since there's no compatibility shim.

Perfect that sounds lovely just to give you a heads up; we're gonna have to comply to the require requirements from the WordPress repo organization to rename our plug-in. Open Trust will become open trust center by Ettic. That will have effect on our code too.

The plug-in version will not be compatible with the older versions, but exporting your files via the export method and importing them in. The new version will work. This new version should be released today or tomorrow.
