Editing Composed Cells

Can geometry be edited after creating and composing blocks with the add-on? The delete option removes the entire geometry, and the block composition procedure is to be redone from scratch. Is there a way to modify the geometry (composed or otherwise) and also remember the state of the geometry with the last-made edit?
