Configuration :
Proxy : Velocity CTD latest version (online-mode)
Backend : latest Paper 1.8.8 (no fork for testing, offline-mode since proxy manage this)
Since version 0.8.4b1-SNAPSHOT (on GitHub: 1.21.6 support preview), when I connect to my backend, players have no skins, and the backend is also unable to retrieve the correct player UUID, instead generating a random one as if the server were in offline mode and the proxy were not providing the player UUID, which leads to a whole host of other bugs with the plugins used to retrieve player data for permissions, skins, and other features...
There are no errors in the console, except for the other plugins which can’t figure out what’s happening with the UUID changing every time.
This obviously only happens when the plugin is present.
