Where is the firmware.bin coming from? Do you guys have modified source that you've compiled, or is this just some old version?

md5sum firmware.bin = 94d55fc762f38184ac9de1a7b20eabb3

...but...

...lists nothing, so this seems to maybe not be one of the official .bin files?

It's true - not an official release because it was compiled from an in-progress branch and never updated once that branch was merged into the master.

(Backstory: Smoothieware didn't support enough axes at the time, and so we donated some funds in exchange for them adding that feature. I created that firmware.bin file at the time from the in-progress code.)

I'll leave this open as a reminder to update that file at some point.
