Request for detailed workflow for preparing rainfall mask (rainMask.tif) in HiPIMS #7

Dear HEMLab Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am learning to use the HiPIMS model and am studying the rainfall input example provided with the software. In the example dataset, the file rainMask.tif appears to be generated through a certain spatial processing workflow (its values range up to around 64 and show a smooth gradient when opened in GIS software).

In order to correctly prepare rainfall input data for my own study area, I would like to ask for clarification on the exact processing steps used to create this rainfall mask.

Specifically, could you please provide the detailed step-by-step procedure used to generate the example rainMask.tif?
For example:

What input data were used (point stations, polygons, or other formats)?

What spatial processing steps were applied (e.g., Thiessen polygons, interpolation, distance-based analysis, resampling)?

Was any smoothing, normalization, or reclassification performed?

In general, what is the intended meaning of the pixel values in rainMask.tif and how should users reproduce this for a new study area?

I would greatly appreciate a clear and reproducible workflow, so I can generate the rainfall mask correctly for my own project.

Thank you very much for your assistance.
Yours sincerely,
Yuyue
