Importing Doesn't Keep Bold Letters

Hi, I wonder if I'm having this issue is because there is limited support for Cyrillic alphabet in Anki. I'm studying Russian and want to use bold font for the stressed syllable in a word. When I import from the spreadsheet where I've bolded the letter I want, it doesn't import with the bold letter. e.g. читаю imports as читаю. I do have that column marked as html. Thanks for any help. Otherwise I'm loving this add-on as it skips one whole step of exporting to csv doc and then importing.

It does not save text formatting at all. And it's a shame.
But I assume, that it is not related to the add-on, but in every copy from Excel Lanky, the formatting does not pass.
Anyway, the plugin makes my life easy.

The text in the spreadsheet needs to be formatted with Markdown or HTML, and the plugin setup to read that. I wasn't aware that spreadsheets had text formatting that doesn't apply to the whole cell, is that new?
