Installation Fails in Step 7 of ready2educate Cell Tutorial due to Missing EthernetKRL
⚠️ This issue is for documentation purposes only – in case someone else encounters the same problem.
Problem
During the installation of the program via WorkVisual (Step 7 of the ready2educate cell tutorial), an error occurred stating that EthernetKRL is not installed, which caused the installation process to abort.
Solution
Although WorkVisual reports that EthernetKRL is missing, the module is actually present on the robot controller (as shown in the file tree on the left). It simply isn't recognized within WorkVisual itself.
This error can be ignored by adjusting the settings as shown below:
After applying the change, the issue will only be shown as a warning, and the installation can proceed successfully:
