The bottom section toward the end of act 1 I believe was meant to actually have an item capsule instead of a spring, and have a spring or a rocket in the lower part. The area isn't somewhere you can very easily fall in and there's no reason to really go down there and explore it. Plus having the blue spring there pretty much makes that piece of land pointless.
Also the tornado section just seems a little unpolished. There's no trees or propellers blowing around in the wind. For example, I think the platform at the top of the section would be a good place to have one of those wind gates and a couple of propellers.
