Issue mounting volume / specifying mount volume

Using stata SE 14.2 - running on macOS Sierra 10.12.4

Other potentially relevant details: it works the first time I use a drive. (i.e it worked the first time using drive "J:", continued to work with the same drive using the same syntax for the entirety of that stata session. But has not worked since, using drive "J:", it worked after that, using drive "E:" even after multiple mounts/dismounts within the same session, but not again after restarting stata. Now works with the syntax in the screenshot attached, using drive "C:"-
