Weird result with a Magic Trackpad

I tested with a Magic Trackpad (Lightning) on a Mac mini M4, and the result is strange: I get about half the expected weight. Whereas with a MacBook Air M3, I get more or less the same weight as with a real scale.

very weird : i have tow Magic Trackpad, and it works with the black, not the white.

That's very odd. Are the two Magic Trackpads that you have different versions or something?

The white trackpad is older, but the two are the same model (A1535), the Magic Trackpad "v1" with Lightning port.
