Can't authenticate streaming

Describe the bug
I can't authenticate for the streaming part, the first authentication works fine, the streaming one always result in this after clicking the "continue to app" button in the spotify website:
"Looks like there’s a problem with this site

LibreWolf can’t connect to the server at 127.0.0.1:8989
What can you do about it?

Try connecting on a different device. Check your modem or router. Disconnect and reconnect to Wi-Fi.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open spotatui
2. Authenticate in the browser for the first step
3. Authenticate the second part ("Streaming authentication required - opening browser...")
4. See error

Expected behavior
I would expect it to log in and let me stream music, as it currently is, I can see my playlists and control other devices, but I can't set spotatui as a streaming device

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: Gentoo Linux
• Terminal Kitty
• Version 0.38.1

I tried both the community shared API token and one I created myself, both result in this

Edit: Solved by forcing a cargo build of spotatui instead of using the binary provided via spotatui update --install

Browser opens, but the authentication fails as there is nothing listening on the port as confirmed by
sudo netstat -tulpn | grep 8888
