Concense and reformat the icon/rectangle

Especially in the icon view of the map-view but also perhaps elsewhere, instead of saying: "March 28th, 2013, 8:44 am", instead put "Mar 28, 8:44am". The year should be visible in the more expansive thread view).

Also, don't use the words, "Posted by" in the rectangular icon, just put the poster's preferred form of identification (as chosen in prefs).

Taken together, by doing these 2 things, the icon could show:
Post number (take up first 2 lines)
Poster also on first line
date/time on second line
Main idea on last 2 lines.

This would still use 4 lines keeping the nice rectangular shape.

The plugin is using currently the date format user has set in Wordpress settings and changing it could cause some localization problems and such. I'd prefer to keep it as it is now.

Multi-line post number is unfortunately quite problematic as well. Currently all text can be placed into one text element. To make the post number to be two lines I should add another or even two new text elements to the note. That means that instead of two elements per note (rectangle and text) there would be three or four elements. The problem is that even now the map view gets heavy when there are a lot of notes, so it's better to keep single notes as light as possible.

Text in the SVG technology the plugin is using is quite tricky.

Knowing that the bubbles use the site's date/time settings, in the dashboard I went to Settings/General, selected the "Custom" Date settings and used this code: "M j," (without parenthesis) and it gave me this date format: "Apr 26,". Looks great.

OK. Is it practical to simply make the comment number bold? Or, make it bold and bump up the size of the font 1-2 sizes larger? Not a huge issue--just a refinement.
