[Revisit Later] In-App Update

On my Mac, I currently need to visit GitHub and manually download updates for installation. It would be much more convenient to have an in-app update feature.

Thanks for the feedback. I am not a big fan of including a third-party framework like (Sparkle) to do this, it also increases the app size by a few megabytes.

The app already prompts new releases, the only thing you need to do is to grab the new build from GitHub.

Alternatively, consider using brew.

Since multiple users have requested this feature and I'd argue that the Sparkle auto-update dialogue is so ubiquitous that most users would assume it's native Mac OS functionality, I'd like to ask:

• Are you firmly against this functionality as a principle, or would you accept PRs for it?
• If the app is installed via brew, does the brew upgrade functionality work to keep it updated? If so, would you be open to mention that prominently in the main readme and discourage *.dmg download?

I actually don't think Sparkle is that good. I checked https://github.com/squirrel/squirrel.mac and it's better but I just don't care things like this enough.

OK instead of being really decisive. Let's say I will revisit this if MarkEdit gets popular.
