Thank you so much for your outstanding work! I have a couple of questions regarding the experiments:

1. When calculating the metrics for [DUSt3R](https://github.com/naver/dust3r) and [MASt3R](https://github.com/naver/mast3r) (Reference entries: DUSt3R, MASt3R), do you apply global optimization during the process?
2. Approximately how much time does madpose take to infer a single pair of images?

1. Since we only have two images, as per the Usage section from the DUSt3R readme, we use GlobalAlignerMode.PairViewer instead of the global alignment. However I remembered trying these two options on a small set of image pairs and the results do not differ much.
2. You could take a look at the Runtime subsection under section 5.2 (page 7) in the arXiv paper.

Thank you so much for your quick response! I have no questions about them. But now I'm encountering another issue when I try to compile the project using the command pip install .. The error message I get is as follows:

CMake Error at ext/pybind11/tools/pybind11Tools.cmake:158 (add_library):
  Target "madpose" links to target "gflags::gflags" but the target was not
  found. Perhaps a find_package() call is missing for an IMPORTED target, or
  an ALIAS target is missing?
Call Stack (most recent call first):
  src/CMakeLists.txt:11 (pybind11_add_module)

Do you know how to resolve this issue? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again!

It looks like you are missing gflags. If you are using Debian/Ubuntu Linux, try install it with

sudo apt-get install libgflags-dev
