What feature would you like to see?

On Mac, Ctrl+W deletes a word but also copies it to the clipboard. It is really frustrating to delete a word and then try to paste text, only to find that the deleted word has replaced the actual text I wanted to use.
It didn't work in others cli nor in the zsh

Hi, I've been looking into this issue.

Root cause: PyperclipClipboard is passed to PromptSession (introduced in commit 0703579 to enable Ctrl+V text paste). This causes all Emacs-style kill commands (Ctrl+W/K/U) to call pyperclip.copy(), which writes deleted text to the system clipboard.

Fix approach: Replace PyperclipClipboard with the default InMemoryClipboard, and change the Ctrl+V handler to read the system clipboard directly via pyperclip.paste(). This keeps paste working while preventing kill operations from touching the system clipboard — consistent with zsh/bash behavior.
