Issue with Microsoft Power Toys / New+ Templates Deleted

Hello,

just a quick report of another case of lost data. This time, when using Micosoft Power Toys and the new rules for it, the templates of the New+ module partially get deleted; especially when they are empty folders.

This has not happened before that rules are added so I guess there is a context there ...

This is an accidental overreach caused by the REMOVESELF flag stepping into the templates directory. The directory parameter will be tightened to fix this. Thanks!

Can you elaborate on the sort order settings being deleted? I am unable to reproduce this in the library view of Galaxy 2.0.90. In lieu of adding a warning about the list view preferences being deleted, an attempt was made not to delete them at all in 9b24e88

Customizing the grid view, sort by, group by, etc all persist between cleans for me. Are you seeing something different?

@MoscaDotTo Regarding the GOG Galaxy issue: this is a long time back already when we discussed this here. In the end, there should be a warning added since it also deleted parts of the UI customization which we also could confirm back then. I'm not sure if and what has changed meanwhile maybe, I simply unchecked this rule due to being unsafe.

As far as I remember, it was mostly about adding or removing columns in the different views like installed applicatins. I have not tested I again since then, just checked every here and there for the warning. I cannot even find the issue here anymore, maybe archived.

If I find the time I can do another test.

The warning isn't there because the cleaning rules were changed to not delete the settings, so no warning should be needed anymore. If that's not the case, please let me know!

Hmmm ... haven't received a notification about that from the discussion back then or misunderstood it. I'll test it in the coming days again. If you don't hear anything new from me about this, everything is fine. If not, I'll report in the details afterwards. Thanks for the info.
