M1 pens "pen cap on/off" setting does not update until you turn off and on the pen.

Current Behavior:
Given a M1 pen with "pen cap on/off" off, you turn on "pen cap on/off" setting, you put the cap, it DOES NOT turn off (but it should because you turnen on "pen cap on/off").
Given a M1 pen with "pen cap on/off" on, you turn off "pen cap on/off" setting, you put the cap, it DOES turn off (but it shouldn't because you turned off "pen cap in/off")

Expected Behavior:
Given a M1 pen with "pen cap on/off" off, you turn on "pen cap on/off" setting, you put the cap, it DOES turn off.
Given a M1 pen with "pen cap on/off" on, you turn off "pen cap on/off" setting, you put the cap, it DOES NOT turn off.

Notes:

1. If you turn off and on the pen manually (from the on/off button) the "pen cap on/off" behavior works ok.
2. M1+ pens work as expected.
3. It happens with both SDKs: iOS and Android.
4. It happens with both apps: Neo Studio 2022 and Neo Studio 2.
5. I've update M1 firmware to latest (3.06) and it stills happen.

It seems to be a M1 firmware issue.
